Is your product a biocidal product or a treated article within the meaning of Regulation (EU) No 528/2012? The distinction is often not trivial and the respective requirements for legally compliant marketing in the EU also differ significantly. In some cases, it will be neccessary to obtain the opinion of an authority. Special rules also apply to the distribution of treated articles within the EU.
