The authorisation procedure aims to ensure that the risks from Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) are properly controlled. The long-term goal is to replace these substances by suitable alternatives that have more favourable risk profiles.
If an SVHC is included in the Authorisation List, it cannot be used after a certain date, unless an authorisation is granted for its specific use. We assist you in creating your individual or, in case of a joint application in cooperation with other interested parties, a joint application for authorisation. Especially smaller companies without an own product safety department often do not have sufficient time or expertise in e.g. toxicology, chemistry or ecotoxicology to represent their own interests adequately in front of involved parties. In these cases, we are highly committed to support you with our professional expertise.
